For sale is a web site www.palaver.co.nz. This includes the code in its entirety as it is now (includes the front end, admin access for the front end, admin panel at the back end, newsletter editor etc) plus the domain name Palaver.co.nz and all other associated rights as well as existing business card layout designs and logos if you want them.
To date 16k to 18k has been spent on developing this site and if you ask around for quotes to develop a site like this from scratch you will find our asking price is a real bargain.
About 95% of the site is automated.. your biggest role as an admin is to add new favourites for the front page, customers service/ problem solving for members when they need help, entering credits to accounts from the bank deposit & writing the newsletter. The rest is pretty much all automated. The majority of the site is actually done by the users themselves- they create all their own listings etc, similar in concept to the trademe type user-based access. The credit card payments are all set up to automatically credit the user account as well.
There are several minor things in the code that need working on, adding and creating so if you have someone who can do this for you, you will be away laughing. The estimated cost to fix these things is approximately $1000.
This would be an excellent opportunity for someone to capitalize on our investment in the website in its current form or reuse as a base for a different purpose (2 or 3 things that could be done with it?)
Our reason to sell is a lack of time to spend on the website to really make it a success, however we did have this site live for 5 months and initial interest was very strong with fantastic feedback on the easy of use for the users. We believe there is some serious potential with this site and are sad that we are unable to give the time needed to achieve this. The opportunity to use this site for variety of ideas and product scope is huge.
